The incident took place on March 4, 2025, in Zeytinburnu. According to the information obtained, real estate agent Servet Dağıeşen (44) and his upstairs neighbor Zeynep A. (71) had become involved in a legal dispute over the issue of shaking out carpets.
While the hearing was underway, Zeynep A.'s son, Bülent A. (49), broke the security camera in front of Dağıeşen's home and scratched the door with a knife. Bülent A. then left a bullet at the door. Upon returning home and seeing the situation, Dağıeşen filed a criminal complaint with the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
"I FILED A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT"
Describing the moments he experienced, Servet Dağıeşen said, "The reason for the incident, in short, is that because I complained to the municipality about the carpet shaking, the municipal police teams first came to her address and warned her, which caused her to harbor hostility toward me, and she shook carpets day and night; for this reason, I filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office."
"HE DAMAGED MY WATER METER"
Stating that a cartridge was left in front of his door, Dağıeşen said, "Criminal cases were filed against her, and getting angry at this, she provoked her son and set him on me. He came up the stairs with a baseball bat, struck my security camera repeatedly, smashed it, knocked it to the ground, and scratched the door with a knife; if I had been home, he could have killed me. Finally, he left a 9-millimeter cartridge here, damaged my water meter, and cut the cables here before leaving the scene," he said.
