Neighborhood evacuated as flames approach in İzmir
A fire that broke out in the Çeşme district of İzmir has spread toward the Zeytinalanı neighborhood of Urla. The neighborhood is being evacuated as a precaution, while firefighting teams continue their efforts.

Efforts to extinguish the fire that began yesterday at approximately 13:00 in agricultural land located in the Ildır neighborhood of Çeşme district are ongoing.
Due to the flames spreading toward the Zeytinalanı neighborhood of Urla under the influence of strong winds, the neighborhood has been evacuated as a precaution.
While fire trucks, firefighting teams, and riot control vehicles (TOMA) are intervening in the flames affecting the scrubland, many teams from surrounding provinces are also supporting the extinguishing efforts. Work to bring the fire under control continues without interruption.
