New development regarding the father who kicked his child on the stairs

The father who kicked his child in the hallway of an apartment building in Eyüpsultan has been taken into custody following a search operation.

An individual named Turgay T., who kicked his child while walking on the stairs of a building in the Çırçır neighborhood of Eyüpsultan, has been taken into custody following a search operation.

The child, who tumbled down the stairs during the incident, was seriously injured.

In a statement issued by the Istanbul Police Department, it was announced that the investigation into the detained individual is ongoing.

The Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that the abused child has 7 other siblings, and that the abused child and their siblings have been placed under state protection following the completion of the necessary procedures.

The statement also emphasized that a criminal complaint has been filed against the abusive father and that the ministry will closely follow the legal process to ensure the individual receives the harshest possible penalty.
