New development regarding the woman who ran over the child her son fought with: House arrest had been granted
In the Gerede district of Bolu, the house arrest sentence of the mother who ran over a child with her car after the child had an argument with her son has been converted to imprisonment.

The incident occurred on August 11 in the Kitirler neighborhood of Gerede district. According to the information obtained, a woman named G.M.U. ran over 12-year-old S.E.Y., who was riding a bicycle with a friend on Belkıs Sabancı Street, with her car.
While the woman drove the vehicle directly at the child, S.E.Y. remained under the car, while his friend narrowly escaped. The child who managed to avoid being trapped under the vehicle, seeing his friend under the car, ran around in fear and tried to pull S.E.Y. out.
As the child was being pulled from under the vehicle, he was taken to the hospital by medical teams who arrived at the scene upon notification. Initial examinations indicated that the child had some fractures in his body and that his health condition was good. It was learned that S.E.Y. was friends with the son of G.M.U., the perpetrator of the incident, and that the incident occurred because there had been a fight between the children.
CONVERTED FROM HOUSE ARREST TO IMPRISONMENT
G.M.U., the woman detained in connection with the incident, was referred to the courthouse after her statement and was sentenced to house arrest by the court. Following the public outcry on social media over the footage that chilled the blood of those who saw it, the court decided to convert the woman's sentence from house arrest to imprisonment.
