Number of teams in Manisa fire increased to 71. Train services suspended
As the number of teams responding to the fire that broke out in an agricultural area in Manisa's Alaşehir district and spread to scrubland has been increased to 71, the Uşak-Basmane (İzmir) train service has also been suspended as a precautionary measure.

The fire, which started in an agricultural area in the İsmailbey neighborhood of Manisa's Alaşehir district, grew due to the effect of the wind.
A coordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of Manisa Governor Enver Ünlü, and firefighting efforts are being monitored at GAMER.
The fire continued to be fought throughout the day by 71 firefighting teams, 7 aircraft, 8 construction machines, 1 electrical technical team, 5 medical teams, and 20 security teams from the air and on the ground.
ELECTRICITY CUT AS A PRECAUTION
On the other hand, precautionary measures were taken by fire crews in the İsmailbey neighborhood of Alaşehir district and the Narıncalı neighborhood of Eşme district in Uşak.
In addition, electricity in the region was cut by the Alaşehir Gediz Electricity Chief Office as a precautionary measure.
Due to the fire, Uşak - Basmane (İzmir) train services were also suspended as a precaution. Meanwhile, due to darkness, aircraft operations in the region were halted as of 20:00.
FIRE BROUGHT UNDER CONTROL
The fire that broke out in a grassy area in Manisa's Alaşehir district and spread to agricultural land and a forested area has been brought under control.
The fire, which started in a grassy area near the İsmailbey neighborhood and spread to surrounding agricultural fields and the forest due to the wind, was brought under control after approximately 13 hours of intervention by teams in the region. Cooling efforts are ongoing in the area.
