Paramotor accident during May 19th demonstration: Pilot injured

A paramotor demonstration held in Giresun as part of the May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day events ended in an unfortunate accident. The pilot, identified as Yüksel Değer from the Trabzon Aviation Club, fell into the water after a connection line on his parachute snapped while taking off from the municipal beach in the Güre area.

Following initial intervention at the scene immediately after the accident, Değer was taken to the hospital. Medical examinations revealed that the pilot is not in life-threatening condition, though a fracture was detected in his arm.

The moment of the incident was recorded by citizens in the area on their mobile phones and shared on social media.
