Passenger who sat on car hood in Manisa detained
Following footage filmed on the D300 highway in Salihli, the female passenger and the driver were detained; the driver was fined 4,500 Turkish Lira.

In the Salihli district of Manisa, a female passenger who climbed out of a moving car's sunroof to sit on the hood, along with the driver, have been detained.
It was stated that the incident occurred on the D300 highway on Saturday, August 8. According to allegations, Ö.K., who was in the car with license plate 64 EU 340 driven by M.E.C. (20), climbed out of the sunroof while the vehicle was in motion and sat on the hood, performing various gestures.
After the footage was shared on social media, the Salihli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the incident. Teams from the District Police Department's Traffic Inspection Bureau conducted an examination of the footage.
Following the investigation, driver M.E.C. and passenger Ö.K. were detained on charges of "indecent behavior." Legal proceedings were also initiated against the driver for "endangering traffic safety."
The driver was issued an administrative fine of 4,500 Turkish Lira for violating traffic rules. It was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
