Patient beats doctor who examined him with an 'electric kettle': Doctor admitted to intensive care

In Adana, a doctor at a family health center was brutally beaten by a patient he was examining with an electric kettle. While the injured doctor is receiving treatment at the hospital, the suspect was apprehended by Seyhan police.

The incident occurred at a family health center in the Dumlupınar neighborhood of the Seyhan district.

According to allegations, Seracettin D. came to the family health center to be examined by Dr. Can Cevher Gürler.

During the examination, Seracettin D. began to argue with Dr. Gürler. Subsequently, Seracettin D. brutally beat the doctor, using an electric kettle, and fled the scene.

ADMITTED TO INTENSIVE CARE AS A PRECAUTION

Dr. Gürler, who was injured by blows to his head, was taken to the hospital after receiving initial intervention from other doctors at the family health center.

Dr. Gürler, whose treatment continues at Seyhan State Hospital, was admitted to intensive care as a precaution.

Shortly after the incident, teams from the Seyhan District Police Department apprehended the suspect, Seracettin D. The suspect's interrogation at the police station is ongoing.
