Pet shop murder in Çorum: Killed with a shotgun
36-year-old Gökhan Dal lost his life following an armed attack on a pet shop in Çorum. Four suspects, including one woman, who fled the scene were apprehended by police in a short time.

An armed attack that occurred at night on Mehmet Akif Ersoy Street in Çorum caused great panic in the city. According to allegations, the suspects arrived in front of the business by vehicle and opened fire with a shotgun at 36-year-old Gökhan Dal, who was inside. Dal, who was seriously injured, could not be saved despite all interventions by doctors at the private hospital to which he was taken.
Following the murder, teams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Security Branch launched a large-scale operation. The suspects M.K., S.Ç., T.P., and D.D. were apprehended near the village of Kalehisar in the vehicle with license plate 19 AJ 647, in which they had fled the scene. The detained suspects were taken to the police station after health checks.
