Police officer takes his own life with his service weapon
In the Gölbaşı district of Adıyaman, a police officer who was allegedly suffering from depression took his own life with his service weapon. An investigation into the incident has been launched.

According to the information obtained, police officer İbrahim A., who was serving at the Gölbaşı District Police Department and residing on İnönü Street in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of the Gölbaşı district, allegedly ended his life with his service weapon as a result of depression.
Upon the notification of those nearby who heard the gunshot, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
The medical teams determined that the police officer had lost his life during their examination.
Following the investigation conducted by the on-duty public prosecutor and police teams, the body was taken to the morgue of the Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
