Police officer who endangered public safety arrested
A police officer suspected of intentionally endangering public safety in Şırnak has been arrested.

The Şırnak Governor's Office announced that a police officer suspected of stalking and intentionally endangering public safety has been arrested and suspended from duty.
In a statement issued by the Şırnak Governor's Office, it was stated, "The police officer who is the suspect in the incidents of stalking and intentionally endangering public safety that occurred in the center of our province on June 5, 2025, at approximately 00:30, was referred to judicial authorities during the day and was arrested by the court and delivered to the Şırnak Closed Penal Institution."
The statement further announced that the individual in question has been suspended from duty administratively, and that an administrative investigation has been launched with an inspector assigned to the matter.
