Prison sentence for defendant who abused 14-year-old girl

K.V. (56), who abused G.Ö., who was 14 years old at the time of the incident, appeared before a judge in Kayseri.
Defending himself at the hearing held at the Kayseri 8th High Criminal Court, K.V. denied the accusations.
The indictment stated that an examination of the suspect's mobile phone revealed images of many young children in addition to the victim, G.Ö. The defendant was sentenced to 11 years, 1 month, and 11 days for 'qualified sexual abuse of a child,' 6 years and 8 months for 'deprivation of liberty,' and 5 years for 'obscenity,' totaling 23 years, 9 months, and 11 days in prison. The court decided that K.V. should remain in custody.
