Prison sentence for father who sexually abused his child
In Bolu, a father tried for the sexual abuse of his child has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.

The hearing at the Bolu 1st High Criminal Court was attended by the detained defendant S.İ., his wife E.İ., and the lawyers for both parties.
S.İ., who was tried on charges of sexually abusing his daughter, claimed he was innocent, stating, "A father would not do such a thing to his own daughter."
The mother, E.İ., requested that her husband be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
The court panel sentenced the defendant S.İ. to 30 years in prison for the crime of "sexual abuse of a child."
