Pump-action shotgun attack in Bursa: Suspect apprehended

M.T., who was reported to have caused injury to one person and damage to several vehicles and a house by opening fire with a pump-action shotgun in the Osmangazi district of Bursa, has been apprehended.

The incident occurred on Kestanelik Street in the Mollafenari neighborhood. According to allegations, M.T. arrived on the street with a pump-action shotgun and fired his weapon repeatedly following an argument with local residents.

As a result of the gunfire, pellets struck three parked vehicles, a house, and Özgür Ç., who was on the street. Özgür Ç., who was wounded in the leg, was taken to Çekirge State Hospital for treatment after receiving initial intervention from medical teams.

A search was launched to apprehend the suspect, who fled the scene after the incident. Teams from the Bursa Provincial Police Department's Public Security Branch, Homicide Bureau, took M.T. into custody during an operation.

It was learned that the moments when the suspect was shouting profanities while holding the weapon were captured on a mobile phone camera.
