Retired police officer who killed his wife and MHP district head arrested
A retired police officer who shot and killed his wife and the MHP Karapürçek district head in the Karapürçek district of Sakarya has been arrested by judicial authorities.

In the incident that took place yesterday on Şehit Selim Gedik Street in the Karapürçek district, retired police officer A.Y. shot and killed MHP Karapürçek District Head Mustafa Hıraç (46) in his office and his wife, Selma Y., at their home.
After committing the murders, A.Y. went to the police station and turned himself in. The suspect, who was taken into custody, was referred to the Akyazı Courthouse following processing at the police department.
The suspect, who appeared before a judge there, was arrested and sent to prison.
