Retired professor's body found naked in trash
The son of a retired lecturer, whose body was found naked inside a plastic drum at a dump site in the Bozyazı district of Mersin, has been arrested.

According to the information obtained, the police procedures have been completed for O. Doludeniz, the son of Selçuk University retired Prof. Dr. Selahattin Doludeniz, whose body was found naked inside a plastic barrel at the waste disposal site in the Ustalar neighborhood of Bozyazı district last Saturday evening.
Following the procedures, O. Doludeniz was referred to court on charges of 'intentional homicide' and was arrested.
PUT THE BODY IN A DRUM AND TOOK IT TO THE DUMP SITE BY TAXI
It was learned that in his initial statement to the police, the suspect claimed that his relationship with his father had been strained for some time, which led him to leave the house for a short while, and that upon returning, he found his father dead in the house, placed the body in a drum, and left it at the dump site in Bozyazı by commercial taxi. On the other hand, while no signs of piercing or cutting tools were found during the initial examination of the body, it was stated that the cause of death would be determined following a forensic medical examination.
