Second forest fire in Soma, Manisa: Response efforts continue

Teams affiliated with the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry are responding to the fire with 2 aircraft, 5 helicopters, 20 fire trucks, 13 water supply vehicles, and 2 bulldozers. The teams are conducting an intensive operation from the air and ground to bring the fire under control in a short time.
Following the fire that broke out in the Bayat neighborhood of Soma at noon, the occurrence of a second forest fire on the same day has caused concern.
