Security checks increased in Kırıkkale for NATO Leaders Summit
Police teams in Kırıkkale have increased inspections as part of the 36th NATO Leaders Summit; some vehicles have been banned from traffic.

Security measures have been increased in Kırıkkale as part of the 36th NATO Leaders Summit. Police teams conducting operations at various points in the city carried out checks on suspicious vehicles and individuals.
Anti-Terror (TEM), Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM), public order, and traffic teams participated in the inspections in Kırıkkale, which is described as the gateway to the capital of Anatolia and serves as a connection point for 43 provinces. During the operations, drivers' licenses and vehicle documents were examined.
During the checks, some vehicles deemed suspicious were searched. It was reported that some vehicles found to have deficiencies were banned from traffic.
Kırıkkale Provincial Police Chief Mustafa Işık also visited the checkpoints and received information from the teams about the ongoing operations. It was learned that security units will continue the increased security operations across the city due to the summit.
