In Aksaray, a person was wounded after being shot in the leg by someone he claimed not to know. When paramedics attempted to take him off the ambulance on a stretcher, the wounded man refused and walked off on his own.

The incident occurred at midnight on Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Street in the Çerdiğin neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Savaş D. (47) was walking on the street when he was subjected to an armed attack by an individual he did not know. While Savaş D. was wounded by a bullet that struck his leg during the attack, neighborhood residents who heard the sound of the gun reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams arrived at the scene in a short time and provided the first intervention to the wounded individual on-site.

The wounded individual was then taken by ambulance to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital Emergency Department, where he refused to be taken off the ambulance on a stretcher and instead walked off on his injured leg. It was learned that the wounded man, who walked into the emergency room, is in good health.

The Murder Bureau teams of the Provincial Police Department's Public Security Branch, who conducted an investigation at the scene, determined that there were 2 vehicles fleeing the area and began pursuing the suspect or suspects. An investigation into the incident has been initiated by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
