The heavy snowfall and blizzard that have been continuing in the region for days have caused disruptions in transportation. As weather conditions intensified, some flights scheduled at airports in Diyarbakır, Mardin, and Şırnak could not be operated.
FLIGHTS CANCELLED IN BOTH DIRECTIONS
According to information obtained from officials, some flights in the aforementioned provinces were cancelled in both directions due to adverse weather conditions for safety reasons. It was reported that the snowfall and the decrease in visibility directly affected flight schedules.
