Social media influencer known as Arda Edeoğlu killed in armed attack
In the İpekyolu district of Van, social media influencer Onur Karael was subjected to an armed attack while driving with his three daughters. Karael lost his life at the scene.

36-year-old Onur Karael, known on social media by the name "Arda Edeoğlu," was subjected to an armed attack by person or persons yet to be identified while driving his vehicle on Kale Road in the İpekyolu district of Van. Karael’s three young daughters were also in the vehicle at the time of the attack.
KARAEL LOST HIS LIFE AT THE SCENE
Following the attack, numerous medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. While it was determined that Onur Karael had lost his life at the scene, his three injured children were taken to hospitals by ambulance.
ONE DAUGHTER IN CRITICAL CONDITION
It was learned that one of Karael’s children, Amara Karael, remains in critical condition. His other two daughters, Ecenaz Karael and Melesa Karael, were reported to have sustained injuries to their left arms and hip areas, and their treatments are ongoing.
FUNERAL BROUGHT FROM YÜKSEKOVA TO ESENYURT
Following autopsy procedures, Onur Karael’s body was taken to his hometown of Yüksekova in Hakkâri. The funeral, which was later brought to Istanbul, was laid to rest with a ceremony held at the Esenyurt TOKİ Cemetery.
