The incident took place on the evening of September 20 in the Yenişehir neighborhood of Payas district.
According to the information obtained, 54-year-old K.Ç. shot and killed his 47-year-old wife, Emine Çil, the mother of his 2 children, whom he was in the process of divorcing, with a pump-action shotgun.
The perpetrator of the incident, K.Ç., was apprehended by police teams along with the weapon.
