Special for August 30 from IMM: Free transportation, concerts, and museum entry
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has announced that holders of personalized Istanbulkarts will be able to use municipal public transportation vehicles and visit museums for free on August 30, Victory Day.

According to the statement made by IMM, various events will be organized across the city to mark Victory Day.
As part of the celebration program, Istanbul residents will gather at Bakırköy Republic Square on Saturday, August 30. The event, which will begin with a performance by the IMM band, will conclude with a concert by Ceylan Ertem following a speech by IMM Deputy Mayor Nuri Aslan.
Specifically for Victory Day, public transportation vehicles operated by IMM, including buses, metrobuses, trams, subways, and ferries, will provide free service for 24 hours on August 30. Only holders of personalized Istanbulkarts will be able to benefit from this service.
Additionally, the Istanbul Bookstore will offer selected books at a 20 percent discount at its Eminönü and Beylikdüzü branches between August 22 and 31.
Due to Victory Day, some museums will also open their doors to Istanbul residents for free. The Basilica Cistern, Theodosius Cistern, Panorama 1453 History Museum, Digital Experience Center, and Miniatürk, all operated by IMM Kültür AŞ, will be free to visit on August 30 between 10:00 and 14:00. Visitors wishing to take advantage of this campaign will need to present the QR code they receive from the “Transactions” section of the Radar Türkiye application along with their identification documents at the museum entrance.
