Specialist Sergeant from Selendi loses his life in Cyprus
A specialist sergeant registered to the Selendi district of Manisa has lost his life in a traffic accident in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), where he was stationed.

The accident occurred yesterday evening around 20:00 on the Akdoğan-Vadili road. Specialist Sergeant Burak Sefa Ürüm (32), who was registered to the Selendi district of Manisa, lost control of his vehicle with license plate FB 950 while driving in the direction of Vadili.
The vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a vehicle with license plate HT 944, driven by İsmail K. (45), which was coming from the opposite direction. Injured Burak Sefa Ürüm, who was taken to Gazimağusa State Hospital by medical teams arriving at the scene upon notification, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost his life. The driver of the other vehicle, İsmail K., and passengers in the vehicle, Ayşe Bayır K. (44) and Mustafa Efe K. (9), were also injured. While the treatment of the injured continues at Gazimağusa State Hospital, an investigation into the accident has been launched.
It was learned that the wife of the late Specialist Sergeant Burak Sefa Ürüm, Dudu Ürüm, is 2 months pregnant. It was reported that Ürüm's body will be brought to İzmir by plane, and then by road to his hometown of Selendi in Manisa, where he will be laid to rest tomorrow at noon.
