Specialist sergeant who pushed child off bicycle detained
In Hakkari, a specialist sergeant who pushed a 10-year-old child after the child hit his son with a bicycle, causing the child's wrist to break, has been detained.

The incident occurred in the evening hours at the entrance of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. According to the information obtained, 10-year-old E.T., who was riding a bicycle, hit the child of specialist sergeant I.S. who was walking on the road. Angered by this, I.S. pushed E.T. off the bicycle, causing the child to fall. As a result of the fall, the child's wrist was broken.
E.T., who was taken to Hakkari State Hospital by citizens who arrived at the scene, is continuing to receive treatment. The child's father, S.T., reacted to the incident, stating, "My child slightly hit the specialist sergeant's child while riding a bicycle. The specialist sergeant then pushed my child off the bicycle, causing his wrist to break. We are filing a complaint."
While it was stated that eyewitnesses saw the incident, officials from the Hakkari Provincial Police Department announced that the specialist sergeant had been detained following the allegations and that an investigation into the incident is ongoing. It was learned that security cameras are being examined to clarify the incident.
