Stabbed his stepfather in the park
In Konya, a 21-year-old man seriously injured his stepfather by stabbing him during an argument in a park.

The incident occurred around 23:30 in the Keçeciler neighborhood of the central Karatay district, on Suşehri Street. According to the information obtained, 21-year-old M.E.K. encountered his stepfather, K.D., in the park on the street.
During the argument that broke out between the two, M.E.K. stabbed his stepfather in the chest with a knife he had with him and fled the scene. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
The injured man was taken to Konya City Hospital by ambulance after the initial intervention by medical teams.
It was learned that the injured man remains in critical condition, while the suspect, his stepson, was apprehended and taken into custody by police teams shortly after.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
