Suspects who kicked elderly man arrested
Two suspects who kicked an elderly man sleeping on the street in the Buca district of İzmir and recorded the moment on their mobile phones have been arrested by the court.

According to the information obtained, F.E. and Ç.Y. approached an elderly man sleeping on the street, mocked him, and then kicked him in the face.
Following the suspects' recording of the incident and sharing it on social media, teams from the İzmir Police Department launched an investigation.
The suspects, whose identities were determined in a short time, were apprehended and taken into custody by police teams.
F.E. and Ç.Y., who were learned to be under the age of 18, were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station were completed and appeared before a judge. The two suspects were arrested by the court on charges of "simple assault against a person unable to defend themselves, violation of privacy, and disclosure of images and sounds related to private life" and were sent to prison.
