Suspension for police violence caught on camera: 2 officers at once

The Tekirdağ Governor's Office announced that 2 police officers, who were alleged to have used violence against a motorcycle rider in the Çorlu district, have been suspended from duty.

In the statement issued by the Governor's Office, it was noted: "Two police officers who displayed attitudes and behaviors unbecoming of a police officer in an incident involving a motorcyclist in the Çorlu district have been suspended from duty."

The statement further indicated that inspectors have been requested from the General Directorate of Security and that administrative and judicial proceedings have been initiated against the officers.
