The incident occurred on Alaçam Street in the Efeler neighborhood of the Efeler district. According to the information obtained, citizens in the area noticed a suspicious suitcase left on the roadside.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
Citizens who monitored the area for a long time reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center as a precaution when no one came to retrieve the suitcase. Upon the report, police teams were dispatched to the area. The teams, who arrived at the scene in a short time, took extensive security measures on the road and in the surrounding area. Bomb disposal experts dispatched to the region examined the suitcase while wearing protective gear. Following the examination, the suitcase was detonated in a controlled manner with the help of a fuse. While the bag turned out to be empty, an investigation into the incident has been launched.
