Syrian female students in Bitlis write 'Damascus' with dormitory lights

Seventeen Syrian university students staying at the Beşminare female student dormitory, affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports' General Directorate of Credit and Dormitories, celebrated the change in their country.

The 17 young Syrian women studying at university in Bitlis wrote 'Damascus' with the dormitory lights in the evening and held celebrations with Turkish and new Syrian flags. The Syrian female students gathered in front of the dormitory and said that after returning to their country, they would like to host the people of Bitlis, who had been the best hosts to them, in their own country.

Kübra Yerboğa, a university student from Bitlis, said, "We share the joy of our Syrian sisters in the Beşminare female student dormitory as they reunite with their country. We stayed in the same dormitories with them. We studied in the same schools. They learned our culture, and we learned theirs. As the Syrian people, they have been freed from a cruel regime. Hopefully, as a continuation of this victory, we will also celebrate the victory of Gaza."

Syrian university student İman Altahşi stated, "The Turkish state took care of us and hosted us. Today, our flag is waving against the strong wind. We are returning to our homeland with our heads held high and with our honor. This is a victory. This is the writing of history."
