Security camera footage has emerged of the incident on June 4, in which a shop was raided with a pump-action shotgun on Kayabal Street in the İçmeler neighborhood of Marmaris district.
According to the information obtained, at around 01:40 at night, an individual identified as M.G. raided another tattoo shop on the same street, which they were reportedly in competition with.
As a result of M.G. opening fire indiscriminately after raiding the shop with a pump-action shotgun, E.D., who was in the shop, was shot in the abdomen, and A.D. was shot in the right leg. Citizens who heard the gunshots reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Upon the report, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The medical teams, who arrived at the scene in a short time, took the wounded to the hospital by ambulance after initial intervention. The suspect, M.G., who fled the scene after the attack, went to the police station and surrendered about 1 hour later.
While the suspect M.G. was taken into custody, it was learned that A.D., who was shot in the right leg, is still receiving treatment, and E.D., who was shot in the abdomen, is in life-threatening condition and has been taken to intensive care. M.G., who was referred to the court after detention procedures upon the instruction of the prosecutor on duty, was arrested by the court and sent to prison. It was learned that the investigation by the Marmaris Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the matter is ongoing.
THEY HAD FOUGHT BEFORE
It was learned that the two tattoo shop owners, who allegedly had a feud over customers, had also fought about 2 months ago and fought again on the day of the incident, and the moments when M.G. raided the shop with a pump-action shotgun in his hand after the fight were reflected on security cameras moment by moment.
The footage showed M.G. opening fire indiscriminately as soon as he entered the shop with the weapon in his hand, and E.D. running towards him to try to stop him, at which point he was shot in the abdomen.
