Teacher arrested in İzmir over sexual abuse allegations
A primary school teacher has been arrested in the Selçuk district of İzmir following allegations of sexual abuse against students.

According to the information obtained, three parents filed a complaint with the District Directorate of National Education, alleging that a teacher identified as Y.Ş. had sexually abused their children.
The directorate launched an investigation into the incident and appointed an inspector. Y.Ş. was suspended from duty as part of the investigation and was taken into custody by the police.
Following his processing at the police station, the teacher, who is married and a father of two, was referred to the courthouse and arrested on charges of 'child sexual abuse'.
