Teacher struck by motorcycle loses life
In the Silifke district of Mersin, a teacher who was trying to cross the road lost her life after being struck by a motorcycle.

According to the information obtained, a motorcycle driven by M.K.Ç. on Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard struck 56-year-old Gülşen Tınas, who was attempting to cross the road.
Upon notification by those in the vicinity, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
Tınas, who was seriously injured in the accident, and the motorcycle driver were taken to the hospital by medical teams.
Gülşen Tınas, who was learned to be a teacher at Silifke Gazipaşa Primary School, could not be saved despite all interventions.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
