In Isparta, four individuals who introduced themselves as municipal staff and arrived in the neighborhood with an excavator began excavation work. However, their plans were thwarted when they damaged power lines and natural gas pipes during their operation.

The incident occurred around 22:00 on 115th Street, in front of the Kadir Bey Mosque. According to the information obtained, Halis T., Hacı D.C., İsmail A., and an unidentified individual arrived on the street with an excavator and, posing as municipal workers, began excavation work on the sidewalk in front of the mosque.
However, they damaged power lines and natural gas pipes during the work. Upon receiving reports from suspicious local residents, police teams were dispatched to the scene.
THEY TURNED OUT TO BE TREASURE HUNTERS
Investigations by police teams revealed that the suspects were not employed by any official institution. It was determined that the individuals were conducting the excavation to search for illegal treasure.
The excavator used for the digging was seized at the scene, and a total of 4 suspects, including Halis T., Hacı D.C., İsmail A., and an unidentified individual, were taken into custody.
Following the damage to the electricity and natural gas lines, local teams intervened and began work to repair the damage. While the suspects involved in the illegal treasure excavation were taken to the police station for questioning, the police stated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
