TikTok livestream ends in bloodshed: Young woman stabbed over argument
An argument that broke out during a social media broadcast in Bursa turned into a bloody fight in the middle of the street. While one woman was injured in various parts of her body during the incident, the suspect was apprehended shortly after.

The incident occurred on Çevreyolu Street in the Demirtaş Cumhuriyet neighborhood of the Osmangazi district.
According to allegations, a woman named Merve A. began arguing with Gülcan Ö. while she was broadcasting live on TikTok.
As the argument escalated, the suspect allegedly beat the other woman, knocked her to the ground, and attacked her with a sharp object she was holding.
It was claimed that during the attack, the suspect did not drop the phone in her hand, continued the broadcast without cutting it, and hurled threats while covered in blood.
Among the allegations is that some users watching those moments did not leave the stream but continued to watch, and even continued to send virtual gifts instead of reacting. It was learned that the broadcast in question was stopped by the platform after a while. Upon notification, medical teams arrived at the scene and transported Gülcan Ö., who was injured in the chest, face, and ear area, to Bursa City Hospital.
Police teams secured the knife used in the incident and apprehended the suspect, Merve A., taking her into custody shortly after.
In her initial statement, the suspect claimed that she was attacked during the live broadcast and responded as a result.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
