The accident occurred on the Nevşehir-Kayseri highway in the 2000 Evler neighborhood, across from the Teachers' House.
According to allegations, the driver of the car with license plate 50 UC 446, identified as Ramazan Ö., requested that the driver of the car with license plate 34 GJ 7753, identified as Ayhan S., who was traveling ahead in the same direction, yield the road by honking and flashing his headlights.
It is alleged that the driver Ayhan S., who did not yield, suddenly stopped in the middle of the road, causing Ramazan Ö., who was following behind, to be unable to stop his vehicle and crash into the car in front of him.
Upon notification by other drivers who witnessed the accident to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Two people, including one child, who were in the vehicle were injured. The injured were taken to Nevşehir State Hospital by ambulance for treatment after receiving initial intervention from medical teams at the scene.
Car driver Ramazan Ö., who stated that he asked the vehicle in front of him to yield by flashing his headlights and honking, said, "When I flashed my lights and honked, he got angry and slowed down. Since there was a vehicle to my right, I couldn't pass either. When he stopped suddenly, I hit him."
While police teams took security measures at the scene of the accident, an investigation into the incident has been launched.
