Tram accident in Kayseri: Young woman seriously injured

In the Melikgazi district of Kayseri, 24-year-old K.E. was struck by a tram while allegedly attempting to cross to the opposite platform. The incident occurred around 11:00 a.m. at the Keykubat Tram Station in the Keykubat neighborhood.
According to the information obtained, K.E. was involved in the accident on the route of the tram operating the T3 line. Upon notification by bystanders, health, police, and fire department teams were dispatched to the area.
Fire department crews began efforts to rescue the young woman trapped under the tram. K.E., who was extracted from the scene by the teams, received initial medical intervention from paramedics on-site.
K.E., who was reported to be seriously injured, was taken by ambulance to Kayseri City Hospital for treatment. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
