Two police officers serving in the Adana Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch were taken into custody and subsequently arrested.

New details have emerged in the investigation conducted into the incident.

According to a report by Ali Pekmezci from Objektifa.com, it is alleged that the reason for the two officers' arrest was that they 'deleted the audio recording from transcripts of wiretaps related to an operation.'

THE AUDIO RECORDING BELONGED TO A PROSECUTOR

It is claimed that the audio recording in question belonged to a prosecutor who served in the past and was later demoted.

It has been learned that the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which is conducting the investigation, has also taken the statement of a figure holding an important position within the KOM branch.
