Family feud in Mardin: 1 dead, 10 injured
In an armed clash between two related families in Artuklu, Mardin, 1 person lost their life and a total of 10 people were injured, 3 of them critically. Security measures have been increased in the region.

According to the information obtained, an argument that started for an as-yet-undetermined reason between two related families in the rural Kabala neighborhood of the Artuklu district grew into an armed clash in a short time. As a result of the parties opening fire on each other, 11 people were injured. One of the injured, who was taken to the hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost their life.
Upon notification, numerous health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to various hospitals in the city after receiving initial treatment at the scene.
While a comprehensive investigation has been launched into the incident, security measures have been increased in and around the Kabala neighborhood.
