In Samsun, a 16-year-old boy shot and killed a young man who had abducted his sister for marriage. During the incident, one of the bullets struck another person. Security camera footage captured the moment the boy chased the person he shot down the street, and the injured young man took refuge in a bookstore before collapsing.

The incident occurred around 14:30 at a second-hand furniture store located on Talimhane Street in the 19 Mayıs neighborhood of the İlkadım district.
According to allegations, 24-year-old Okan Doğan Torun, who had abducted the sister of 16-year-old M.T. for marriage, came to the workplace to talk. The argument that broke out there escalated quickly. M.T. shot Okan Doğan Torun in the chest with a handgun, leaving him critically injured.
Okan Doğan Torun fled while injured and took refuge in a bookstore. Meanwhile, M.T., who was chasing Torun along the street with a handgun in his hand, opened fire again.
One of the bullets struck D.A., who was sitting in front of a workplace, causing a leg injury.
Emergency medical teams arrived at the scene and transported the injured to Samsun Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. Okan Doğan Torun, who had been shot in the chest, could not be saved and lost his life.
The suspect, M.T., was apprehended and taken into custody by police teams shortly after the incident, along with the handgun he used.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
