In an incident that occurred yesterday evening in Esenler, 27-year-old Ş.Y. began arguing with his 34-year-old wife, S.Y., at home.
As the couple continued their argument after stepping out onto the street, Ş.Y. began stabbing his wife, S.Y.
Upon receiving the report, police teams arrived at the scene and warned Ş.Y. to drop the knife by drawing their weapons.
The suspect, who dropped the knife and surrendered, was taken into custody by police teams.
The injured Ş.Y. and S.Y. were taken to the hospital. Despite all interventions at the hospital, S.Y. could not be saved and lost her life.
