The incident took place around 23:30 on Şehit Er Mustafa Pehlivanoğlu Street in the Süleymaniye neighborhood. The vehicles in the military convoy were traveling one after another when they suddenly stopped.
Young people who got out of the vehicles in the convoy attacked each other with kicks and punches. Other individuals in the convoy struggled to break up the fight. The young people then got back into their vehicles and continued the convoy.
