Wedding turns into tragedy: 6-year-old child loses life
A 6-year-old child lost their life and one person was injured after random gunfire was opened during a wedding ceremony in Sanlıca village, located in the Varto district of Muş.

During the wedding, bullets struck 6-year-old Ayşe Demirhan and another person whose name has not yet been identified, as a result of gunfire opened into the air by person or persons whose identities have not yet been determined.
Upon notification of the situation, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the village.
The injured were taken to Varto State Hospital. Despite all interventions, 6-year-old Ayşe Demirhan could not be saved.
The other injured person was discharged following treatment.
Gendarmerie teams conducted an investigation at the scene and took the individuals determined to be involved in the incident into custody.
While Ayşe Demirhan's body was sent to Muş State Hospital for an autopsy, it was learned that the investigation is ongoing.
