Woman stabbed by her husband in Akhisar could not be saved

In the Akhisar district of Manisa, 30-year-old Hasret E., who was allegedly wounded with a knife by her husband, has lost her life at the hospital to which she was taken.

The incident occurred today at around 10:00 in the Kayalıoğlu neighborhood. According to allegations, an argument broke out between S.E. and his wife, Hasret E., for reasons yet to be determined. It is alleged that during the argument, S.E. wounded Hasret E. with a knife.

Upon notification by those nearby, medical teams were dispatched to the area. The wounded woman was taken to the Akhisar Mustafa Kirazoğlu State Hospital following initial intervention.

Hasret E. lost her life despite all interventions performed at the hospital. Following the incident, S.E., who is alleged to have stabbed his wife, was apprehended by gendarmerie teams and taken into custody.

It was learned that the couple had 3 children. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
