A dispute at a swimming pool in Aksaray quickly turned into a major scandal. A fight broke out at the Olympic Swimming Pool on Şehit Mehmet Ali Demir Street in the Büyük Bölcek neighborhood between Şebnem B., who had come to swim, and staff member Burcu D. over issues regarding hair falling into the pool and holding onto the handrails.

DISPUTE PROMPTS POLICE INTERVENTION

As the incident escalated, security guards were forced to call the police. After leaving the pool, Şebnem B. stated, "She doesn't know who I am, I am filing a complaint," and announced that she was filing a complaint, claiming she had spoken with the mayor and organization heads.

"I AM AN AKP MEMBER, SHE WILL PAY FOR THIS"

Following the argument, Şebnem B. hurled insults at the staff member, Burcu D. Claiming, "I am from the AK Party Women's Branch, I am from the organization," she said, "She insulted me, she insulted my mother. I am filing a complaint to the fullest extent. I will also sue you for slander." The woman then accused Burcu D. of being a "life-sinker, not a lifeguard."

POLICE TAKE ACTION

Şebnem B. was taken into a police vehicle and brought to the station to give her statement. However, as a result of the investigations, it was revealed that Şebnem B. was not a member of the AKP Women's Branch.
