Woman who killed her sister and stabbed her friend appears in court

In Aksaray, a woman who stabbed and killed her sister and also stabbed and injured her friend during an argument has been referred to the courthouse along with 2 other people who were taken into custody.

The incident occurred around 02:00 at night at the entrance of the Çalışkan Apartment building located on Büyük Bölcek Street in the Büyük Bölcek neighborhood. According to the information obtained, half-sisters Figen Bozkurt (34) and Ceylan İ. (29), who share the same mother, argued due to a long-standing feud. The argument between the sisters, which had continued over the phone late last night, turned into a physical altercation when Ceylan İ. arrived at her half-sister's home. 

As the two half-sisters fought at the apartment entrance, Ceylan İ. stabbed Figen Bozkurt in the chest with a knife she had with her. Ceylan İ. then turned toward an individual named M.G. (39), who was trying to break up the fight, and stabbed this person in the arm, injuring them, before fleeing the scene. 

Figen Bozkurt, who was critically injured by the stab wound to her chest, could not be saved and lost her life at the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital, where she had been taken. In the investigation launched by the Murder Bureau of the Provincial Security Directorate's Public Security Branch under the coordination of the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the murder suspect Ceylan İ. was apprehended in the early hours of the morning at a house along with a woman named C.İ. and a man named Y.B., whom she had visited after the incident. Following the completion of their procedures at the police station, Ceylan İ., Y.B., and C.İ. were referred to the Aksaray Courthouse.
