It has been reported that agricultural worker Lokman Tülek has lost his life in Yerliköy, a village in the İskilip district of Çorum.
According to a post shared on the social media account of the Health and Safety Labor Watch (İSİG), 44-year-old Tülek was trapped under a beet harvesting machine at around 19:00.
The post stated that Tülek worked as a "harvester" and was from the village of Eskialibey in the Bayat district. No information was shared regarding whether an official statement had been made by the authorities concerning the incident.
