Young man stabbed while trying to help woman being assaulted

In Adıyaman, a young man identified as U.Y. was stabbed and injured while trying to help a woman who was being assaulted by a person reported to be her boyfriend.

The incident occurred on Sağlık Ocağı Street in the Eskisaray neighborhood. According to reports, an argument between a couple escalated quickly. As the unidentified suspect attempted to use violence against the woman, U.Y., who was passing by, intervened in the situation.

It was learned that during the intervention, the suspect wounded U.Y. with a knife he was carrying. Upon notification, medical teams were dispatched to the area. U.Y., who received initial treatment at the scene, was taken to Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital.

It was reported that the assailant and the woman with him fled the scene following the incident. While police teams have launched an effort to apprehend the suspect, the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
