Resignations continue at Halk TV. Most recently, Buket Güler announced her departure from the channel in a statement on her social media account.

A new departure has been added to the recent resignations within the Halk TV staff. Following the earlier decisions of Seda Selek and Sorel Dağıstanlı to leave, Buket Güler also announced that she has parted ways with the channel. Journalist Güler shared the news with the public via social media.

In her post, Güler stated, "In this process, I stand in solidarity with all my colleagues, whether they have left or remained, who protect the dignity of our profession under all circumstances."

Güler's statement is as follows:

"Following what has happened, I also have things I want to share with you. Let me say at the beginning what I would say at the end: I have conveyed my decision to part ways with Halk TV to my managers today.

I would like to thank our managers and all my colleagues who have enabled us to work for years without casting a shadow over our editorial independence.

In this process, I stand in solidarity with all my colleagues, whether they have left or remained, who protect the dignity of our profession under all circumstances.

Long live the truth, long live journalism!"

Seda Selek announced her decision to leave at the end of the 'Neden-Sonuç' program she had been hosting for a long time on April 30, stating, "Know that I have extremely justified reasons." Following Selek, Sorel Dağıstanlı also stated on social media on May 8 that he had left, saying, "I have left Halk TV, where I have worked for 5 years. The reason is the social media post I made some time ago regarding the departure of my friend Seda Selek."

With these latest developments, three prominent figures have ended their relationship with Halk TV in quick succession.
