Another departure at Sözcü newspaper! 'Hoping to meet in other venues'

News of departures from Sözcü newspaper continues to arrive. Following Aytunç Erkin, who bid farewell to the newspaper in recent days, Deniz Zeyrek has also left the paper.

Zeyrek bid farewell to his column at Sözcü newspaper in an article titled 'Thank You'. Reminding readers that he had been a columnist at Sözcü for 6 years, Zeyrek said, "I say 'Thank You Life' for giving me the opportunity to work at Sözcü for six years."

Deniz Zeyrek bid farewell to Sözcü as follows:

"I am writing with all my heart:

During those six years that passed, I felt like a member of this great Sözcü family.

I experienced the freest days of my professional life.

I was proud to have the title 'Sözcü Columnist' placed before my name in the TV programs, conferences, interviews, and meetings I attended.

The guidance of the great journalists I worked with illuminated my path.

I made very precious friends.

I thank Burak Akbay, the owner of Sözcü newspaper, who brought me together with this great community, my colleagues whom I can call 'my friends' with peace of mind, and most importantly, you, the readers of Sözcü, for embracing me.
